Serbia striker Nikola Zigic ended South Korea's 27-match unbeaten run with the only goal in Wednesday's international friendly at Craven Cottage, the United Kingdom, according to AFP.

Zigic, who plays in Spain for Valencia, nodded in a cross from Nenand Milijas in the sixth minute.

South Korea's best moments came from Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung and the closest they came to an equalizer was when substitute Lee Dong-gook almost got on the end of his inviting second-half cross.

Aleksander Lukovic hit the crossbar for Serbia in the first half while Park's Manchester United teammate, Nemanja Vidic, had a close-range effort palmed away by Korean keeper Kim Young-kwang, AFP said.

Both Park and Vidic were substituted with 20 minutes left but United boss Alex Ferguson will have been glad to see the pair on the comeback trail following recent injuries.

한국팀에게 가장 좋은 기회는 맨체스터 유나이티드 미드필더 박지성에서 시작됐는데, 동점골에 가장 가까웠던 때는 교체로 들어간 이동국이 후반전에서 아깝게 크로스를 놓친 것이었다.

알렉산더 루코비치는 전반전 크로스바를 맞히는 한편 박지성의 맨체스터 동료 네만자 비디치도 좋은 찬스를 잡았지만 골기퍼 김영광의 선방에 막혔다.

박지성과 비디치는 후반전 20분을 남기고 교체됐다. 이 날 경기로 맨체스터의 알렉 퍼거슨 감독은 두 선수가 최근 입은 부상에서 회복돼 다시 경기를 할 수 있게 된데 안도할 것으로 보인다.
